Q. How do you clean equipment between patients and how long does it take the cleaner to work?
A: Wipe equipment with appropriate cleaner.
- Super Sani-Cloth: two-minute contact time
- Sani-Cloth AF3: three-minute contact time
- Sani-Cloth Bleach: four-minute contact time
Contact time: the specific amount of time a disinfectant must remain wet on the surface to kill germs.
Diagnosis as a Team Sport Webinar
When: Wednesday, March 1, from 1 to 2 p.m.
Presenter: David Newman-Toker, M.D., Ph.D., director, Armstrong Institute Center for Diagnostic Excellence
Summary: Physicians are tasked with identifying the patient’s medical condition, but they are not the only ones who can ensure a correct diagnosis. Nurses, physical therapists, physician assistants and family members can also help prevent incorrect or missed diagnoses. In a one-hour webinar, Dr. Newman-Toker will discuss:
- The benefits of teamwork in diagnosis
- How to involve nurses and allied health professionals as critical members of the diagnostic team
- Ways to engage patients so that they contribute to accurate diagnoses
- Legal, cultural and logistical barriers to diagnostic teamwork

Enjoy music and cuisine from the West Indies/Caribbean as we celebrate black culture.
