Q. What is a rapid response team?
A: The rapid response team consists of health care providers that will respond urgently when requested to intervene in the sudden or unexpected deterioration in a patient’s condition, offering clinical expertise and manpower in emergent, non-code situations.

A Restful Night Aids Healing

In an effort to deliver excellence and compassionate care–every person, every time, we have implemented the Quiet Nights program. The goal is to maintain a healing atmosphere for our patients to rest and recover.

Evening lighting starts at 8 p.m. and Quiet Nights lighting is from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Please maintain a peaceful environment to allow our patients to rest, recover and heal.

We ask you to please:

  • Close patient doors (unless closing the door will pose a safety hazard for the patient)
  • Eliminate routine tests and therapies
  • Eliminate routine housekeeping service
  • Take care of patients’ immediate needs before 10 p.m.

We understand that nursing staff will continue purposeful rounding every two hours; if possible, we ask you to please be cognizant to not wake the patient during these rounds. Routine tests and therapies may resume at 5 a.m.

We appreciate your assistance in maintaining Quiet Nights for our patients.
