You can’t miss the ongoing construction taking place on our campus. We realize this can create obstacles for you as you handle your daily activities and navigate around our campus. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve Sibley and continue to expand the range of services we provide our patients.
We’ve made a lot of progress on construction of the proton center, slated to open in August 2019. Currently, the building is about 35 percent complete, and equipment installation will begin in the first quarter of 2018. Once the proton center is operational, we will be among an elite few globally offering proton therapy, a unique treatment that offers greater effectiveness and less toxicity than conventional radiation therapy.
This construction is currently affecting the employee parking garage, with the elevator tower closed until Wednesday, May 31. The tower will reopen with limited access on Thursday, June 1. Look for updates on this project in Daily Buzz, and, as always, thank you for your patience.
